Default Fixing to put the screws to it.

I just got my Millennium Spyder loc rod holders and was wondering if anyone has any advice before I screw them to the boat. I'm going to use these for pulling cranks. The catfish rod was just one I had handy. Thanks in advance.

Camo the plate before you screw it down.

Make sure nothing is under there before you screw it down.

And yeah, you gonna love em.

As per above, you will love this rod holder.
i ordered extra plates, I can easily move around the boat.
great idea to paint the plates one of the camp colors, or camp them!

Sit in the seat then move holder to where it is most comfortable for you to reach. Preferably where you can grab rod and remove from holder while sitting down. Getting out of seat every time you get a bite gets old in a hurry.

I used a small pilot hole for the screws, also read about sitting in the seat and checking for reach

Yep, there's definitely a sweet spot between not hitting your knees and being able to reach a pole. Also, I'd make sure the trolling motor can stow and deploy without moving the rods. Made that mistake on mine.

Also, consider where you'd put another to go to 8 poles. Because you probably will! Enjoy!
