    Default Slab Sauce and Thunder.


    Got out early thunder Storms.Tried to out Run it.Not! got soaked!! Kaught several in the 30's had to weed through the little ones. kept 10 for The Grease.Thanks Pico, Slab Sauce and JDM RODS.We fish deep timber 20-30 ft 4 lb test Florocarbon line. Expermenting with 4lb fluorocarbon line.Cannot find 2lb florocarbon. To Fish crappie this deep.HAVE,HAVE To Feel your lure sliding through the Tree limbs.Get hungup lose a fish game over spook fish.Use 1/24-1/8 oz spin Jigs 6.6-7 ft JDM,Japanese major Craft Rods.Lots of info in Panfish forum.Caught the 4 lb Bass on 4 lb Florocarbon could not believe I got it out of the thick trees.

    Experimenting With casting PICO Crankbaits,Bass Fishing Style.Catch some of my biggest Crappie With this Technique.use 8-10 lb nanofil ,8-9 ft Rods to get Down Deep and feel the limbs and not get hungup on the Limb or Brush.Good Fishing.
    Having Good Success using this Technique on a Deep no boats in the parking lot Dead sea"No Crappie" in Lake.To hot to fish.

    Was all I wanted on 4 lb Test in 20 ft of Water.Thought it was a 3 lb CrappieSlab Sauce and Thunder.

    Great post and some beautiful crappie. If you are looking for 2# test fluorocarbon, Vanish offers it. I use to use it as leader material for my main braid line (2# test Fireline Crystal), but switched to a slightly heavier 4# test instead. Better abrasion resistance and the fish don't seem to mind.

    Great post and catch, Jackie. Awesome job bringing in a 4 pounder on 4 lb.
