Default Wise advice for us all

I seen this video and wanted to share.

A couple years ago I started wearing what some call a gaiter to cover my facial skin, after my first trip offshore fishing in Florida's brutal heat and continue to wear it here in Michigan most of the time.

I keep a couple extras in the glove compartment of my boat as well for others.

If you're not already covering up, I urge you to start (at any age) take care of yourself.

I agree Steve, great topic to bring to everyone's attention. I try to always wear a 50spf or 70spf sunscreen and a large brimmed hat when I'm going to be out in the sun for any extended period of time. You can't do too much prevention against cancer because there might not always be a cure. Thanks!

That's good advice that most people will ignore until they start having chunks of their face cut out. As for me, I totally cover up and have been wearing a buff for years.

I never leave the launch ramp without my SPF rated long sleeve shirt, sun gloves, wide brimmed hat and a liberal coating of Neutrogena SPF 100 sunscreen on any exposed skin. Cheap insurance in the long run:

I also have the neck and face pull up gator covering and wear light colors with long sleeves. My hat is my signature with the c.com emblem. Take the time to protect yourself from the sun.

Good luck & be safe out there.

I don't use sunscreen, but I do cover up including a buff and gloves.
The best thing ive done is to install a beach umbrella on the bow of my boat.
And I still make 2 trips a year to the skin Dr.
