    Default Green River Lake

I know it's hot, but anybody catching fish at Green? Wife and I will head out at day break for a few hours. My thoughts are that they will be around the channels and deeper cover following shad.

I have fished 3 of last 5 mornings. Been starting at first light and off by 9:00AM due to the heat. Fish have been doing pretty good. I am pulling cranks. This morning fish were 12-15 foot deep in 20-25 foot of water.

Thanks for the tip Drakeky. I am new to pulling for crappie but have been catching a few with that method. My wife likes to throw at the banks, so we will have to do some of that too. I am just looking forward to being on the water to be honest.
    Happy Independence Day!

No problem. No monsters but plenty of 10-12” fish. We have kept about 15-18 each trip and could have kept a lot more. We are having the fish fry tonight.

Hope JRJ did well. Wife and I caught 3 keepers and then found a bed of big gills. Some of the nicer ones I have caught on Green to be honest. Quit at 11 with a nice mess. Crappie were caught in 20-21 FOW along channel edge. Caught 5 shorts too. Good day with my wife. 😊
