Interesting for sure, but why not?
My good friend and neighbor passed a few weeks ago. He wanted a Viking type send away, so family and friends accommodated his wishes. This was a celebration of a good man and a good friend's life.
Yes, we had boats out for safety.
Yes, there were fireworks inside the "ship" . Layered explosions.

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
I had a good fishing Buddy died last year and his last wish was to have his ashes scattered on Patoka lake so why not a viking funeral LOVE IT may he fish in peace

I want to be placed on a pyre and burned right up the hill from the pond on our farm. I doubt that happens, but it's what I want to happen.
