Summertime Blues!

I haven’t had time to travel to a lake and catch some slabs yet this summer. That needs to change! But you know the catfishing is good when you have to stomp on the live well lid to close it, and we only kept 5 fish each. Last trip out we caught 32 blues in 4 hours. Talk about feeling the thump! Good times, lol!

Not this time, this time it was just the guys and a cooler full of beer! Except my buddy Sam forgot the beer at home and we had to drink coffee and water.... I might have a fillet or two to share if that summer shindig happens.

FYI - Pops (and my stand in) put 30 crappie and 6 walleye on ice this morning between 7-noon. If you need to get out without the hassle of a boat, let me know and I’ll hook you guys up.
