Default My Hero Son Got To Throw Out The First Pitch

I ask Slab before posting this, but also know there were a lot of people here that sure gave us support during the years following his injury!

Last night Randy got to throw out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers game last night and wanted to share with all the people here that gave so much support back in 2007 when he was injured by the IED. They needed a Special Forces guy and a Team 43 Member which is George W. Bush's team so Randy got to throw out the first pitch.

The Bush Center tweeted about this also!

I am sorry, but the video I made is on my timeline on Facebook. The file it too large to upload here even thought it's only a very short video, still it's like 46MB, but here is the link...

We should all be grateful to anyone in the military, past and present no matter our stance. They give more than we will ever know. Thank you for your service and a big thank you to the parents of this man. People often forget about the moms and dads and the service they have given with your child in the military. Thank you for sharing that post with us.

More teams need to take a page from the Texas Rangers on this one. I am seeing more and more wounded vets throwing out the first pitch for them. Rob Terkla threw one out a week or so ago!

What a honor for him and your family. What a honor for this nation for the men and women who step up to the plate and bat for freedom daily laying it all on the line.
