    Default Grandpa's Tackle Box

My dad has had this in storage for a while, but he had it out today showing it to a friend. Forgot about this stuff.

    1944 & 1946 Arkansas fishing licenses.

The old box itself.....was green at one time.

Most boxes have lures inside. Some never saw water.

Thought you crappie guys might find this stuff interesting.

The boxes are worth more than the lures in some cases! Great find and awesome photos.

I love finding old things like that that are handed down.

Right there's proof that the addiction is not a new thing. Those lures are definitely worth a lot more now than he paid for them. Thanks for posting the pics!

There's a restaurant owner in my town who also bass fishes. He offered my dad $800 for the whole lot. He said he wanted to use most of it as display material for his catfish buffet/ steakhouse restaurant. Dad won't sell.
