Did a little night fishing on Tilley on father’s day. Firsttime out at night since my heart attack. On the lake about 9pm off at 3am. Hotand steamy, water was flat no wind or partyers out riding around just some catfishermen. Set up and stayed in one spot all night. 30 fow, fish were holdingat 10 feet under and around my light. Most bait I have ever seen around mylight. Caught lots, kept 20 all 12’’ or better. Minnows were all they wanted. Startedwith 4 rods but had to go to 2 because if you did not set the hook as soon asyou felt the bite they would swallow the hook. Re-tying at night is no fun for these old eyes.

Nice size keepers. My old eyes have to tie Palomar knot at night or low light.

That had to be fun getting on the water with no wind and fish willing to bite! Glad you caught some fish and had a good time doing it. Take care of yourself and get on them again.
