Years ago when the weather got hot I would get in my float tub and flipper back and forth along the face of the dam dragging a Marabou jig. Caught a lot of Crappie and stayed cool.

It’s only hot if the fish ain’t biting. Cold has the same rules.

All I can say is I vote for whatever method can get you out on the water for a day.

A broad brimmed had, SPF rated long sleeved shirt, Glacier Gloves and Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 100+ on all exposed skin. But, we still call it quits by 1 pm when the temps hit 90 degrees.
