    Default My Sons Fixed me up for my birthday


    Well have not talked much about my youngest except for our fishing last year, but he sold his boat and kept his Navionics premium HD MMC and gave me that. Mine was older before they had the premium one.

    My Army son got me a rod I had been wanting the new 10' Wally Marshall™ Pro Series Crappie Rods and also some Hi-Vis Yellow Power Pro.

    Guess you could say I had a good birthday!

    Thanks buddy I appreciate that! Good to see you over there at crappie.com and I know you have been killing the crappie up there!

    Oh I know we were talking about our web pages the other day and I had been putting off what I wanted to do which was eliminate some pics and try to arrange them in more of a common type on each page and I did that today. Take a look when you get a chance.

    I had a no show today, so I went out hitting some new areas. I ended up catching around 22 this evening on your #16 jig. I have a group of 6 in the morning, its going to be a long day LOL.

    You know I never used that #16 before last year (or anything close) and one day I just put that combo together and started trying it and very soon it was one of my top favorites. I love the way the FL Yellow goes with the Silver and that shade of blue. Caught some of my biggest crappie on that last Spring.

    I am going to try it with marabou tail this Spring.
