Default No one can say I didn’t try to catch them today!

White caps, jet fleas, and fish with lockjaw was how my day went. With the exception of 3, I hit ALL of my brush piles and/or proven timber. 1 keeper for the day.

For or anyone that knows Ray Hubbard will understand how far I traveled today looking for the finned critters!

But, it still beat working in the yard!

To avoid the lake lice, I took the fly rod to the trout river. Big skunk for me, and I saw a lot of fish caught, so it wasn’t lockjaw. Unfortunately, I stink with the fly rod, but I ain’t giving up!

I was shopping on the Louisianna Boardwalk with my wife so your day was better than mine. Did go to BassPro for a few minutes though. Call it a tie?

I burnt 16 gallons of fuel in my 17ft boat with a 90 horse motor the other day.Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to find some.

I’m not feeling as bad now. After talking to a few lake friends, it seems that the ditch pickle and white bass fishermen had the same issue.

Also, like others have said, I wasn’t skunked! As far as I know, in the 6 years I’ve been on Hubbard, I’ve caught at least one fish each time out.... I hope that holds!

i hope all of you have a great Sunday!
