    Default Spider rig placement help!

I’m needing to change my spider rig setup bc it wears my back out having to reach so far. So I need some opinions on what you guys prefer and how y’all think I should set mine up. I have an xpress with a front end not ideal for spider rigging as u will see in the pics. So I’m trying to decide between a high or low setup. That’s where I need yalls opinions. My current setup is high but my issue is my seat pedestal from the factory is way back on the deck making it hard to reach. My possible solution would be to add a center pedestal to be closer or maybe an offset pedestal but not sure that would be enough. Also with that setup, I’m wanting to add a 2nd rig and with my trolling motor where it is, idk if I can get another rig high without it being too crowded. Soooo I started looking at a low mount option. But it seems kinda to low. I could easily get two rigs down there and situated but would my rods be to horizontal to the water? Running 16’ trolling rods. Sorry for being so long but I’ve been wracking my brain on this and wanna be sure before I start adding more holes. Forgot to mention that I plan on moving my fish finder to the center on a Ram mount. Thanks in advance Name: IMG_2819.jpg

I would do offset rod holder posts that is what I did on my old tracker I had. If you move your pedestal up to far it will make it hard to use the foot pedal. I had perodi built rod holders and he custom made them for me. They tread in at the base with an offset post so you could change where they where very easy.

Yea I thought I had mentioned scooting it closer? That would be the ideal move but then I run into the issue of being crowded on that front deck with where my trolling motor is mounted. Not to mention haven’t quite figured out how I can install a new floor base bc that section is completely enclosed. That’s what sucks about the factory one being at the back of the deck.

You may want to check into a double down kind of seat that you can move around.

I used my blind chair a lot this past spring and it was fine but not near as comfy as the millennium I should be sitting in lol. Does anyone know the best way to install a new floor pedestal base into a front deck with no access panel? I am looking at possibly using real big threaded rivets but not sure on the strength.
