Question BnM Crappie poles at Wally World??

I was traveling to the coast of Mississippi yesterday and stopped at the Meridian Mississippi Wal Mart and seen BnM Crappie poles Signature series 10 foot for 41 dollars. I didnt know they carried them. I have never used one of these poles and I took it down and grabbed the tip and bent it to the rod handle lol to see how strong it was, surprised me that it stayed together. Only one thing caught my attention Made In China? Do these poles have replacement parts since it is a very light weight rod? The tip on these rods are very sensitive and I could see an advantage of fishing with one of them but the Man in the fishing department didnt even know they carried it lol typical Wal Mart help lol. So I am asking you guys?

    Default B & M

If it is a Sam Heaton Signature series, that is a pretty good price. They do sell replacement tip sections. You can order them direct from B & M if you ever need one. They are located in Mississippi. I also sell B 'n' M rods if you ever need another one.

It is a Sam Heaton series. I have not made my mind up on what to buy yet just heard alot about them rods and was surprised to see one in walmart. I visited your website but you have no info on the rods or the price? Also I cant find a replacement tip on the bnm website but I may have overlooked them. Since my grandkids go with me sometimes a replacement tip is a thing that we need at times lol.

Wood, Yes BnM does sell replacement sections. The top half of a two piece rod. I have had to replace tip section on 3 different occasions. Heaton Super Sensitive Still the most sensitive rod on the market in my opinion. BnM has great customer service
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

I bought a bucks graphite 12' b&m pole for 15 bucks from WM. I went to another and got the Sam heaton for 19 bucks. Both times it was the last one left. Great deals and you can order parts from B&M if needed. I was going to order them from the link above but couldn't pass up the deals.

Thanks Pig, But why did yours break? I mean did you or someone step on it or did it break trying to land a fish or was you hung up? Just wondering why.

in the papers that came on the poles they address the breaking problems. It says that blows on the side of the boat and other bumps cause most breaks. It also says to net your fish and not hoist them with the pole

I bought a 10 ft two weeks ago at toledo tackle for my wife and I fished with it last weekend for a little while. It is the most sensitve pole i have ever put on my hands. I want one now but in a 12 ft. I own 7 BnM poles and am quite satisfied with all of them. Yes, I have bought my share of replacement tips and have had good sucess with them. I even have a Shakespere IM6 in 12 ft. that I really like. It is lighter than some of the BnM's I have now. I still think everyone has thier own style of fishing and you have to find what works and feels good to you. I used to only fish with 10 footers and now when I pick one up I feel like I need some more lenght there. We don't do much drift fishing - primarily vertical fishing in heavy cover. Anyway, the Sam Heaton is still a great choice in any lenght. That's my two cents worht.

I work for Wal-Mart Distribution center #6094 as well as guideing and I see first hand what fishing gear we get in and sell. I have seen B&M poles come in as well as much sought after Falcon Bass rods! I have never seen them in my local WM though!
