I would like to thank SLAB and the members that donated the fish locator to the site for all of your generosity. Yesterday I got the opportunity to install the locator on my dad's boat and in a few hours we will be on the water in the boat for the first time this year. I fish multiple times a week but usually from the bank or on docks. Growing up it didn't matter how tired my dad was or how many hours he worked that week (usually around 80 if not more) he always found a way to take me fishing every chance he got. I cant explain how good it felt to install that locator on his boat which is by far the best one we have ever had and finally be able to give him something back for everything he's done for me. It wouldn't have been possible without you guys so again thank you so much! I'll post pics of the locator and any fish we catch today.

This is awesome. Its rare to see people that dont know each other to come together and help out. Donating gear or electronics to someone without and deserving. Well not too bad of a day for first time fishing the lake from our boat. Ended up keeping 5 crappie 3 catfish and 2 sand bass! Caught and released a bunch of small ones. My girlfriend lost what was easily a 2 pound crappie right at the boat before I could get to her to grab it.
