Obviously and without a doubt this is foe the likes of which fisheries and their managing agencies have never battled before. We can all complain and point fingers about what is and what isn't being done. But that isn't providing any solutions.

I wish I had the answers as, in time, all of our favorite lakes will be affected. I believe we the fisherman need to be searching for possible solutions. Wish I had some inclination of what a possible "fix" looked like, I don't. But I feel we should all be searching to preserve the resources we love and enjoy. And maybe we should be asking the governing agencies what we can do. We have strength in numbers and I feel this problem will need all of us standing together to conquer it.
Hope this doesn't come across the wrong way to anyone. Certainly not my intention. There are so many of us fisherman that surely we can put our heads together and find a way to turn the tide on this invasion of leaping, over-proliferating, resource hog.
