I fish in the rain and do pretty good at times but don't take chances if its lightening.
Help me out guys! Whats your experience with fishing while its raining? i caught 25 on sat and 50 on sunday, and i have a chance to go tommorrow morning before work, but its a 100% chance of rain and thunderstorms. Am i just wasting my time going or will they bite the same in the rain?

RAIN! HAAA! When I had my own business that was the only time I could go. If I had a chance to go in the morning after that kind of weekend and my back wasn't broke and my gear was in good shape I would be GONE!
End of story!
Don't mess with the lightning though...bad!
Have fun!
ive got some pics from sunday but this work computer wont let me host them. Ill send them to someone if they ll post them for me.

Rain ...I can see no problem, cept you get wet.
Thunder and lightning can definitly make the fish do something out of the norm.
I know that after a big light show here the fishing may be hit or miss for a while

off and on sprinkles...very pleasant and great fishing
constant light rain...great fishing, might fish under a bridge if too hard
harder than that...they better be tearin it up to make it worth staying

In Oklahoma, meteorologists are wrong more than they are right. So I don't know what to do with "100% chance of rain." But I do know this: THE FISH ARE ALREADY WET!!!
Jeremiah 16:16a "But now I will send for many fishermen," declares the Lord, "and they will catch them."

I have done some of my best crappie fishing in the rain, sleet, and snow.
