    Default Crappie bite at Taylorsville?

Are the Crappie still on at Taylorsville Lake? Trying it tomorrow for the first time in a couple weeks.

We caught soo many small ones. In about four hours of fishing. Two keepers the whole time. Was excellent weather and enjoyed the morning.

How were you fishing, Stone ?? And did you get a water temp ?? Has the water color cleared up to normal (if you know) ??

COE chart shows water temps of 79* surface & 72* at 10ft & 64* at 15ft down ... but that was taken last Wednesday (& at the dam), so I'd expect it to be a bit warmer in the first 5-10ft of water depth by now.

I'm glad to hear that there's still plenty of dinks roaming the waters of Taylorsville Lake, as I doubt this years spawn was all that productive.

I did not get a water temp but the water looked normal for Taylorsville. We caught most fish in 15 fow at 5-8 ft deep. Jigs, minnows, and even caught a few around stumps on a small crank bait

Everyone I have talked to has had to weed thru a lot of dinks.
The secret to fishing? Fish where the fish are.
