I refuse to be held responsible for any stupidity that might have ensued ......
bummed us a boat ride to the local water hole , lined up in the throng of bass boats doing the tournament thing and then sat out amongst them in the line up under the bridge for the starting bell .....
we was waiting on our number 4 to get in the boat and of course I was ketchn some bass in front of the bass guys as a warm up for the crappie trip ....
Now let me just say this about that , one of the buds in the rig was Snoopy and he is somewhat fond of me . He can be kinda too friendly and make ketchn fish sort of a challenge , but you know its hard to beat a good ole lick on the face here and there
Anyway off we went for a couple of hours after work and hit about every kind of typical crappie holding area you might imagine . Fish were for the most part not in really big numbers on any one spot ,but the size of them ran decent and we had us some good laughs and put a good box together .
Used my garlic slab sauce on handties and plastics and am finding it to be dog friendly as well .
Tried to get the NHL playoff game on the big screen tv on the console but it wasn't happening ...
Pitched some new lil tiny 1/32 handties under a dock a bit that I won on a small fishing forum . Yawl may know the maker , his name is Pepop aka Lake Palestine jigs ....
Sunset on us and back to the monster boat rally at the ramp we went .

Love Pepop’s jigs. Handtiedcrappiejigs.com is undergoing an upgrade of the sickle hook and he is having to reduce his tying time but worth waiting as long as necessary. His jigs are more works of art than crappie jigs and I have a hole in my heart for everyone of those jigs that I have lost. He has a Ketchn Karrot that is a wonder. Good post Ketchn and keep them coming.
