Default Homemade crappie habitat idea. Thoughts?

Ive been seeing man made stake beds being posted and have read some of the comments. Some good some bad. I got an ideer.. could I use 4 or 5 fake Christmas trees, possibly could get 3 beds out of each tree. They seem pretty durable and would provide tons shade and safety. Some trees are made where you can detach each limb and some just fold up.. either way i can cut them off with a pair of dikes. After reading some legit comments on not enough shade and safety, and seeing pics of a few made from just pipe. Why not substitute the bare looking pipe with parts and/or small bundles of the fake Christmas tree limbs? Just an idea of mine, I've never made any but if I do I wanna make good ones. Please let me know what y'all think. Y'all are really good folks on here and I appreciate all the info I get from y'all. The wind of this world blows so hard and fast it's a miracle to find time to breathe. MAKE time to do what you enjoy. And take a youngin, they need something other than computers, phones, and video games. Take a sip and rip a lip fellas. Thanks for any advice on my ideer.

Sounds like it would be somewhat snag proof. Shouldn't take alot of weight to hold down either.

Should be a lot of plankton form on those....thats a good thing....provides a food source for bait fish....and bait fish will attract the crappie....you will have food...cover....shade.
