    Theres nothing like fresh crappie! I think I could smell your grillin' from here! We had ours blackened tonight with rice. Vonna did all the cooking since I did all the cleaning!

    They are cooling racks from Wal Mart. They come as individual racks. I made a hinge from stainless fencing wire. I just looped some wire (loosely, about a quarter inch play) around one end of the racks, kinda like a clamshell. On the opposite end, I fashioned a hook from fencing wire so I could close (lock) it when I was ready to grill. I spray the grill rack and the cooling rack generously with pam before I put the slabs in the rig. This helps keep the fishes from sticking. 'Bout 2 bucks to build.
