Might have to go to Lake LBJ

Lake Austin, with its variable temps below and above 70 degrees, have got them confused and not sure it they are supposed to spawn, cut bait, or go crazy. I know my brother and I are going crazy. We keep trying minnows under bobbers on the obvious spawning areas to no avail. We catch 2-3 off our favorite brush with some having damaged tails from nest building. Had hoped to use Helix 10 Mega to see the beds via SI but guess I need to go back to YouTube to know what I am looking for. Caught a nice Black at 14 inches and 1 1/4 pound. Pretty good in our lake for a Black. Help. You local guys need to help me before I get too old to fish (smile). $50 for a spawning crappie in the shallows.

That far south your fish are likely post spawn bro .....
Might be out in open water on bait schools suspended ....just a thought
