Buckets full 'O' fishies...

Spent a few days at the lake listening to the wind howl and watching the white caps dance across West Sandy Waters. I was using my Jon Boat. What an experience. Been a long time since I fished from the Jon. haha. I could only fish early mornings and late evenings, but filled the "live well" each outing. That 5 gallon bucket in the photos is my live well. I filled that bucket a bunch of times. A few photos of the Jon. Water was so rough, I floated jigs and minnows. Hot pink pencil tails jigs did the trick Tuesday. Various other Chartruce combinations worked too. So did the minners. It was fun. I had a large time.

Hey John,

See them big fishes in that bucket. Bucket is full of water and the fishes tail is bent. By the way, the aerator is a 1 pound coffee can (plastic). I dip out water, then add new water every 30 minutes or so (when I remember). Sometimes the fishes jump out of the bucket. Adds a little excitement to the game. The coffee can also serves as a temporary urinary depository. The can is multipurpose. Saves cargo space. It is a multi-tasker. haha

I agree. I had a front hitch made for the Rhino at school. I can't back up squat!
