    Default SlabSauce survey

I have had lots of discussions and read lots of posts about applying SlabSauce. Richard Gene the fishing machine squeezes a dollop directly on the jig and that seems to work best for me. Slab suggests a quick and hard press that produces more of a spray. I have not seemed to do well with that technique. Some have suggested pouring a bit into a Nibbles cap and dipping your jig in that. Worked well for me until I kicked it accidentally while catching a nice crappie. So, for the sake of all that care what is your approach to applying SlabSauce on your jig?

Spray it on. I have a question while we are here. How often do y’all reapply?

I am a dipper, couple sprays in the lid then prop the lid up in the recessed cup holder (stuff rag beside it or clicker counter) so it will not turn over. The cup holder has drainage holes for any spillage, but no spills yet. Give my jig a dip ever so often, more when i catch a keeper and go back to the live well. If any is left over I just rinse out with lake water and replace the lid and throw bottle back in scent bin. Good stuff the Sauce is, gonna try it on gills this summer!!

Re apply when you pull it in and you dont see a oil film in the water around it or if you cannot smell it or feel it on the bait or lure.

I barely press the pump until some comes out hold it on the body by the jig head and let it run down to the tail.
    Too blessed to be stressed!

I pour 2 bottles at a time into one of those really small Gatorade bottles and use the dunk method. Lid fits super tight and bottle is thick and durable. Also has a large mouth so easier to get the jig inside the bottle. My small cooler has a mesh pocket on one end and the bottle fits snuggly in that area. Other than removing and replacing the lid I never have to move the bottle.

I filled up an eyedropper squeeze bottle, and it has a precision tip that I can place on jig, give a soft squeeze and apply as much as I want and
    where I want.

Baby food jar wrapped in duct tape. Little dip, little shake, little throw, and big hook set.
