    Default Tips for night time crappie?


    Hey guys.Due to my sons playing baseball or basketball 6 days a week and a full time job.My fishing time is suffering.Im looking for some tips and techniques on catching crappie at night.I have a boat and a very strong desire to figure it out.Thanks in advance.

    i usually wait till summer to do it. then i find a deep weed line with fish suspended out from it. drop a light and put out some rods and fan casting a roadrunner or something. now you would be setting up in the shallows.

    I tend to do way better on new moons and dark nights. Seem to attract way more baitfish in the lights.

    I also do better on dark nights.

    try the full moon during the spawn and fish shallow under a lit float close to shore where they spawn ....as far north as you are it may be next month but for sure it will be fun ...
    if you drag your rig SUPER duper slow parallel to the shore line and keep your line tight you will feel as many bites as you see if not more
