    Default Crappie Camp Day 1

Went up the lake around 7:30am and fished my usual spots and not even a bite so I went looking for them and found them in the back of the creeks and just in spots but you could catch them one after another.
Had a few nice ones but most were males, the females eggs are ready it just seems they can't figure out where they want to spawn.
Took me a little bit to figure out how they wanted the jig but after that it was on, got back to camp at 11am and time for some grub.

I'm going to have to save my vacation this year after it renews, sitting here at work jealous and scratching at the walls to come down Friday.

What do you think the storms will do to fishing?

Nothing. They is already wet . Not really calling for that much rain so I think we will be okay.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
