Default What to look for. Humminbird 360

I found a good deal on a Humminbird 360 used and need to know if there is anything particular I need to look for since I won’t get to use it before buying. It doesn’t come with a puck and it’s got a few scratches on the bottom. Any help is appreciated

Inspect the pod closely for any signs of an oily substance - which would be the acoustic oil leaking from inside the pod ...

Of course inspect the cables for nicks or damage ...
    -----

360 will function without the AS GPS HS antenna - you just will not be able to mark or display waypoints on the 360 image ...

Does it just connect to the Ethernet port and not the unit like a regular transducer does?

I had to have what Humminbird calls a "Dongle". This is a short cord with a screw type connector on one end for the 360 connection and the connector that actually hooks into the back of the unit. They also recommend that the 360 be wired through a switch so that it won't be draining battery when not in use,

360 is an Ethernet connection ...

It can be connected directly to 1 Ethernet compatible HB unit (with the AS EC QDE that DOFC mentions) ...

    Or ...
If there is more than 1 unit - the 360 Ethernet connection and additional HB units would be connected to the AS ETH 5XPG (along with the AS EC QDE adapter cables that DOFC mentions) ...
