Well, Well, Well...You know who your friends are when someone offers to take and "show" you the lake and let you mark some spots only to whip ya with the fish count. Then they apologize that the fish weren't biting...well they weren't biting for me but....they were biting for you!

Then I concoct a plan for the next weekend that involves going back to an area where I "usually" catch fish. I'm thinking yea, you guys are going to Big Sandy but I know my home water and I'm going to even this deal up. Now...I know you guys didn't call all the fishermen you know and tell them to go to my spot on FRIDAY and fish me out...did you?

Not only did something happen to my fish but the KING and QUEEN call me up happy as LARK. They have just finished putting thier 60th fish in the boat.

I was kidding about the fish not liking my new boat but I'm starting to think I may need to offer that young man some money to get my old boat back! Seriously though...Dad and I had a rough day with the fish. We caught a few but it was 1:00 P.M. before I started doing anything that resembled catching.
Matter of fact when I started catching fish the wind started blowing about 15mph. No, No...that didn't have anything to do with it. Paul! Finally caught a fish that went about a pound and half. Last year this time I was putting a whoopp'n on em'.

Anybody else struggling?

I am gettin alot of small crappie here at Patoka Lake in indiana lower lake levels has really hurt the fishing here

Lower Lake Levels! What Lake! Kentucky Lake looks like a mud puddle. Way lower than last year this time. They were pulling water out of Kentucky today and there isn't ant in there to begin with! UGGGGH!

I love you guys too! Maybe I'm just a little bitter bout gett'n my pants pulled down today. I don't see how you can be wounded...unless you cutt yourself cleaning all those fish! LOL!
