I use the Engle bait cooler and love it. Have a buddy that has a frabil that works nicely as well.
Yes, outside air temp hitting low 80s so minnows dying when water warms up. Aerator works great. Could someone remind me of that popular insulated minnow container? Our crappie seem to like it better when we top our jigs with minnows. Kind of wish we could wean away from minnows as the closest bait shop is a bit away with a lot of traffic. Thanks in advance.

I've got the frabill. Like 10$ at Walmart. Works good for me. I also run a small bubbler. I can get em for weeks generally. If we lose one the chickens are more than happy to dispose of them..

Save some coin and make one out of a small cooler. Works just as good. And you'll have bait money left.

Or that /\. My whole setup was like 15$ tho so if you had to buy a cooler idk that itd be much cheaper.
Excellent replies and I appreciate it.

I also highly suggest a dip net. May not be as big a deal in Texas as it is in Indiana but that water can be cold in early spring..
