    Default Hot Colors?

Finally get to take my son out for some condo dock fishing at LOZ this weekend... any hot colors of jigs? Usually go with slabbusters in white, red/chart, or blue/white...

Thanks in advance - hoping the catch is on!

This slabuster red devil with a green nibble is my go to all the time LOZ bait. Might have to look hard to find the Hardware store before Walmart on 54 carries.

BG Blue Ice = clear water, BG Blue Grass = stained water, Red and Char or Black and Char = dirty water....that's about all I throw anymore.

everyone has the favorite colors and lures, go with what you are confident with, after you get a mess, then start changing up and soon you will have a tackle box full of lures you will never use, been there done that, the advice on light colors on light days/water and dark for dark days/water is very good advice in my humble opinion.

Oh yeah I got some jigs I might never use...I think bass fishing requires a more diversified portfolio where crappie fishing only needs a few key investments.

Exactly Beagle!! Steve Coleman (Capps and Coleman) has told me several times that 99% of the time, he could carry all the tackle he needs for the day in his shirt pocket

Augh you sell tackle? Hows that going? :] No offense but it's about the chase, bigger, better, tackle boxes are cool, not what the wife says...and I if I was a tournment winner the all the tackle i need in the front pocket thing, would be my go to.
