    Default Report and pics

Hey everyone. As promised I'll post my reports and pics here. Everyone else is more than welcome to do the same.

Went out today to a private pond at my brothers. About 60ish or so outside temp. But another fairly overstocked pond. Again no depth or water temp bc I'm a broke a** and can't afford one. But the bite was pretty good starting around 330 or so and tapered off by 6. Ended up taking 9 largemouth and 8 brim. Threw a couple bass and brim both back bc wasn't worth cleaning. Minnows as usual. 1-3ft deep under a float. Not a great day but got to spend some time with my little brother which is good enough for me.

Also caught a turtle..1st one ever on rod and reel.

Great report and pics. Glad you had a great time with your bothers. Right now, small ponds and pits are where its at, as the big waters--lakes are still screwie.

And I'm pretty big fan of the small waters. Seems to be my first choice...But the lack of a boat kinda makes the decision for me...

Hit up one of my local public fisheries again today for 2 or 3hrs. Not too bad a day. Was mid 60s. Lil wind not awful. Fished off the bank. Remember no water temp or depth. I'm a poor boy and can't afford it. Minnows under a float as usual. Got a bit shallower today at 1-3ft or so...nothing really any farther than maybe 30 ft off the bank at the absolute most...ended up with 10 in the bucket. 1 LM that was released. All about 8-10in which is pretty much what this pond seems to give. But were good with that..anyhow here the pic

Nice catch. Linton is not too far from my birth home of Graysville (west of Sullivan). Grew up in that area, don't make it back as much as I would like.

Well you guys ever make it back down let me know. Lots of places to fish off the banks(in regards to your "curious" post). Lots of public waters.
