If'n ya got time that ain't a question....
Hey guys!
I haven't been on the site in some time with work and life keeping me busy, glad to be back! So after a long winter I THINK spring is finally here and I have been dying to get on some crappie. Yesterday was 59 degrees sunny, today is supposed to be high of 60 degrees mix of clouds and sunshine. So I'm sitting here at 4:45am still haven't been to sleep since work and about to load the car....would like to get to the lake around 7:30am. I will be bank fishing coves, etc...The only concern I have is it's 37 degrees as we speak, its not supposed to hit 40 degrees until around 8ish and wont hit 50's until 11am according to weather.com. How will these cold morning temps effect the bite??? Would like to hear your all's thoughts before deciding to head out....thanks!
Good luck out there! Our temps are pretty darn cold for late April as well. Hopefully this week sometime we'll get out.

We have been fishing The marinas here in New York with snow on the docks but catching crappies. Seen them start early and shut off by 11am. Just have to give it a try at least your fishing.
We fish no matter how cold. The fish will bite.

The temps may be cold to us, but the water the fish are in is probably 45-55 degrees by now so it’s probably not that cold to them. And even if it is, they still gotta eat! Lol. Good luck
