Very nice !
Spent 5 days with family and friends at Truman. Fishing was great and the weather was COLD. We fished out of the boats in the slack water channel the first two days. Double rig minnows at 15 feet were the ticket. Jigs didn't do as well. The wife and son (Montanaboy) and I got a lot of 10"-11.5" crappie, as well as some sand bass, hybrids, blue cats, and bluegills. The next three days, we mostly fished off the docks and slayed 'em (probably 300-400 fish) with jigs. The ones we kept were mostly 10"-11.5", with the largest at 13.5".
We also put out a few jugs for a very short time and caught three small blues on shad.
The pictures are of: 1. The wife and son, with a few of the ones she caught. 2. Friend Steve and his Dad with some of their fish. 3 and 4. The two superstar jigs that really turned on the crappie.
Very nice !

Nice job.
If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles
Fun time with family and friends . Dont get much better then that!
A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
From an old movie I saw
Nice mess of fish!! Thanks for the pics
NICE!!
We were blessed for sure. Love anytime I get some time fishing with mom and dad. Good thing the limit is 15 fish per person on Truman because my hands are tore up from catching and cleaning fish. I don't think I could have cleaned any more if we kept more than 15 per person.
Dad forgot to mention we fried up some fish the first night and really enjoyed the fresh fillets. Mom, dad, my buddy, his dad, and I couldn't get enough so I broke out the fryer again the next day and we went at it again. Best time to eat those fish is the day you catch them.
great job guys! that is a way to do it, catch and release to the grease!
Nice line up
