Anyone fish St. Joe State Park

Hey guys..been a while since I've been on the boards.

Going to Wappapello in 2 weeks but need to get my line wet before then. I was thinking of taking a drive down to St. Joe state park south of Farmington Monday weather permitting. I have never been there but it is fairly close to try since I live in Fenton. Got any good stories from there?

Also, I thought about going over to George Winter and try a little. Anyone fish over there? Years ago I remember a fishing program that was on and they were fishing over there catching a good amount of Crappie.

Man I wish I had my boat back !!!!

Have'nt ever fished St.Joe. But good luck at Wapp. You should hit them just about the right time.

Yeah I hope so speck. It has been a L-O-N-G Winter. I won't even mind catching the small ones....well at least for a while. :D
