Default Huge "smallies" on my crappie structure

Finally got out fishing ...first time since my hip surgery. Heard that the crappies where hitting in the narrows at the exit of a bay near my cabin. When we got there it was aready being fished very heavily , so I thought that we would try drilling some holes over my crappie structure that we usually fish only in the summer. By the way we still have 3 ft of ice. We caught one nice crappie and 10 huge bass ...smallest 16 in , the largest 21 in .
The bass where very well feed...huge bellies. We released all of them...should have had my camera.
I am thinking that the drilling of the holes over the structure would most likly spook the crappies so I am going to go back in a couple of days and try the same holes and hopefully get a few slabs.

I don't believe the drilling had any affect. But I'll bet you 20 inch smallmouths sure did.
Great catch. Those smallies are the best.
I refuse to keep one myself. There just too much of a game fish to do in, in my opinion.
