    Default Where to buy baitcasters

I prefer baitcasters to spinning reels and need to buy 8 of them. Where is a good place to buy some decent cheap ones. I’m just spider rigging with them so they won’t get used much but I do a little crank pulling in the summer so I need something with a lager gear ratio

I used the Shakespeare Axiom reels that went for close to $20 each on ebay. Did a fine job for me til I moved south and trolling cranks doesn't work as well here as it did in TN. Never saw the need to spend more to get the same results.

I would reccomend checking your local area for any swap meets. They are a great place to buy or trade for reels. And also offload some stuff you don’t use anymore.
    Good luck
