    Default Do-it-yourself-homemade-inexpensive-redneck keel guard

I’m sure somebody has experimented with this type of keelguard?? It’s just hard to pay $100 for some 3m tape!

That 100 dollar 3m tape should sell for 300 as it has been proven to hold up to all kinds of abuse

It's much for than seven 3m tape my friend. If you can find it for $100, then it's a steal. Lifetime warranty too.
    Sometimes quality just costs more...

Guess I will be the guinea pig for a cheap- inexpensive keel guard. I have some things in mind, but I guess my biggest question will be what is the best kind of adhesive to use on an aluminum keel to make rubber stick?
