Default Need Help Finding A Certain Float

I just joined the site, looks great with a lot of good info....

I picked up some of these a few years ago and want to get more. But for the life of me I cannot find them anywhere. Has someone seen this before? It is a foam float that uses a lead spike for the line peg. I really like this float because the lead peg really gives it a nice weight to it for long casts. I've tried a ton of other weighted floats but they just don't compare to these for me.

Below is a picture of what I am trying to find. If anyone has seen them and can tell me where to get them or find them on a website, I would appreciate the help. Tim.

I haven't seen that kind before, but this site has some that may be similar, http://www.fishandgifts.com/long_distance_floats.htm

I had one just like that, I think I got it at Wal-mart or K-mart but it was some time ago.

We've got plenty of them up here in PA. I'll check the baitshop where i get mine and post the name for you.

Grizzly Jig Co. has some very similar bobbers. They are styrofoam like those in your picture and shaped the same, but they are slip bobbers. That's what I use, and I bought 50 from them a couple of years ago. You might check their website, but I know they are in their current catalog.

Here ya go. I've seen them around here as well and I was pretty sure they were made in PA. They have em in the local tackle shops. At least they used to.

    Wink Manda's Landing Float

Jack Manda out at Manda's Landing in Akron Ohio carries them 24/7 because that is all they use up in Ohio. I'm sure if you go to www.dogpile.com and type in Manda's Landing it will take you to his store.
