    Default Lake Wylie 3/31/18

A friend and coworker finds himself with a boat but no truck for a while. I have a truck but no boat. Being quick thinkers we came up with a plan. I slipped across the state line and picked him and his boat up in NC. We launched at Southpointe. found a suitable creek, and had lines in the water by 10am. Fishing was kinda slow but by the time we quit around 4 we had caught 18 crappies and kept 14 nice fat ones 10 to 13 inches. Probably caught an equal number of white perch but didn't keep any. Also a nice yellow perch and 2 small largemouth bass. Water temp was 57 when we started and above 60 when we finished. Most fish were around 10' in 10 to 20 fow. Full of eggs.
