I have the driftmaster pro and use it just how your talking about I can move them anyway I want to up or down just buy a couple extra bases best rodholder out there Just my $0.02
As you guys can see I'm new to the forum, but have already read and learned a ton on here...I'm hanging up the bass rods and gonna start doing some crappie fishing with m 10 year old...I'm in the process of putting my crappie boat together and am getting ready to purchase my rod holders....I am wanting to be able to move the rod holders to the front for spider rigging or to the back for trolling...My question is that I know that when you are spider rigging you want the rod tips close to the water, but what about trolling??? Do I want the rod tips down or do I need to get different holders that will angle the rods up a little???
Thanks in advance for all the help.....:D

I like to have the rod tips up just a little went I;m trolling out the back,I can see the bite a little better.
When long-lining out off the back of boat I like the rod tip to
be up just a little bit,as tnjeff said you can the the bite a little
better.

Fried Crappie.... "The real thing".
Check out Bee Ready Rod Holders. You can adjust them any direction and they will stay put until you move them again.

My oppinion, I like the rods up in the back up more that way they aren't easily pulled out of the rod holders.
You can't fish with a hung line!
