Just curious if anyone has ever fished this lake for crappies? I am going to be in the area in June and was thinking of taking a day to try it out as some family has offered the use of a boat while there. Just curious. I will give it a shot either way. It is in New Mexico by the way.

my friend bought a house there last year. went from Ga. to N.M. to fish for walleye with no luck. caught a few smallmouth. don't know about crappie, but if you pull a 1/4 oz. or a 3/8 oz. jig head and a 3" pearl swimbait you can load the boat with white bass. troll fast. good luck
