What trolling motor do you have? There are a few different ways to do it. I'm assuming you have one that had electric steering.
Could some of you post pics of how you run your transducer cable down the shaft of your trolling motor

Several different videos on YouTube showing how to do it the right way.

They are a little tricky but do-able. I have an Xi5 so I don't know specifically for yours. I'm using the built in transducer on mine(sonar only). I have imaging on the one in the back to use while scouting. Lots of solutions out there. Several use coiled air hose and run the transducer wire inside it. Just look up videos like Cray said. Also, Google.

Good luck figuring anything out on the power drive. I couldn’t come up with anything other than leaving enough slack off the side for the motor to make a complete revolution plus some each way. If you don’t, you’ll pop the cable on your transducer in a heart beat.

Cable guard by Precision Sonar works great for my Ulterra.

Those things are slick. Don’t think they work for the PowerDrive’s though.

I have an Xi5 and decided to go this route. I didn't want to take any chances on screwing up that cable.
DHC above is wrong. Cornfield Crappie Gear (sponsor here on CdC) makes a setup for PD motors. The only way to go.
The link says Ulterra but the page is really for PDs. Cheaper than replacing your transducer once.
