    Yes sir I mean field tested. Auto correction can be a pain. Got any advice on keeping the reel seat in place? I bought one off line and didn’t notice it didn’t have the traditional reel seat.

    Yeah, there isn't a fixed reel seat on these ... they're Tenn style handles w/rings. What I did, for a couple of reels that I've had on my rods, that happen to have a higher than normal raised foot & the rings didn't slip over them far enough for my confidence .... was simply to use electrical tape over reel foot. (as shown in the picture below)

    Since the picture was taken, I have a different reel on it and it's foot isn't as high ... so the rings are all that's holding it (& have been for a couple of years now). But, since I don't see me changing reels again anytime soon ... I'll probably wrap it again, just as a precaution.
