    Default Rod Holder Angle

There are some rod holders on eBay I’m looking at purchasing. They are made in NC and look like 3/8 drift masters. They come in 0 degree and 10 degree. I will probably use this for crappie and catfish. Which one would you buy? Or should I get some of each. And if anyone has used his that would be great to know how they are. His user name is fishbite09. Thanks

Honestly, if I were still fishing for catfish and trolling for crappie that would be two totally different angle rod holders. I like my crappie rod tips near the water, the complete opposite, if I'm catfishing.

like locator79 said, your better off to get a set that is adjustable for raising and lowering your rod tips.

Any ones I should be looking for? I don’t have a ton of money because it’s a new boat and I’m trying to rig it from the beginning.

You can get the mounts that are similar to driftmastet at Walmart. They are around 10 each, that is what I used for catfish on a boat I had. 0 degree would work for crappie, but depending on where you mount and how big of a boat, might be dragging tips in the water. When it's all said and done, you'd be best getting a rack that adjustable. I use spiderlok for both crappie and catfish. By the time you buy a bunch of singles, not sure how much money you'd save.
