    Default Crappie staging for spawn

I had a very successfull day starting at 11:00 am. I immediately began catching fish in 8 feet of water. The bite was moderate but steady all throughout the afternoon. I found fish in depths all the way down to 14 feet deep with the hits becoming more fierce towards sundown. Three of us caught a total of 64 keepers with many in the 1 lb. to 1 1/2 lb. range. We caught most of them on Wooley Boogers styles #682 and #684 1/16 oz. See my website - www.wooleyboogerjigs.com - for these color styles. These crappie are staging and preparing for the spawn. The females are already fat with eggs.
