Some weeks back, I ran across a thread, discussing lighter than usual, Screw Lock jig heads.
Being a light jig guy, I had been wanting to try screw locks, with some smaller plastic's, in 1/32 On the scene comes CrappieDreamer.
Little did I know, he was already involved in supplying the needs of another, light weight jig addic. So when I saw he had ordered and modified a mold to accommodate his customer, I jumped on the wagon, with a head order .
Fast forward to 2/8, I ended up in the Hospital, for a weeks vacation. During the stay, Jeff texted me to confirm color's, and discovered I was laid up. Kept up with me daily, with encouraging conversation by text, and stories of places we both had fished, in FL . ( What's the chances of of both liking Rodman, he's in Ohio!)
Long story short, I received my order of some of the best painted, clean jig heads to ever grace my tackle box. Along with a get well pack, of custom hand ties, in 1/32 and ordered in #8 sickle hooks for me.
Doc says I can fish next week, I'll post some photos of the single pole jigging results!
Don't hate me Jeff, but I had to tell the tale, folks like you are rare as hens teeth.
That's my story, and I'm stickin to it!:fish292373
