I Forgot....

My wife's birthday this morning.
I did, however, wake up told her I loved her and thanked her for keeping me another day.
As anyone who's been married for more than a day knows, that didn't cut it!
After being awake for about ten minutes, she "reminded" me.
My reply, at least I did not get another 6' tall blow up vulture, like when you turned 40! It didn't help that her mom and aunt lined the driveway and roadfront with black balloons also.

I’ve been with my woman for 3 years now. She still thinks I don’t know when her birthday is. I can’t “forget” it if I never knew it to start with.
