Co pilot is just a remote for steering and speed, does not have spot lock. You will need I pilot w it to GPS for that.

What is the difference between Minn Kota’s I?-Pilot and Co-Pilot on the Powerdrive trolling motor? Do both have spot lock?

Do you mean you can only use one or the other at the same time? I have seen where I can add a foot pedal to my powerdrive if I want to and use that instead of using the remote iPilot if I so chose.

Well, went back and checked myself to make sure I was right, and found out you were correct. It says in the picture below: not compatible if equipped with iPilot. My mistake, but glad I figured that out before ordering a foot pedal.

co- pilot can be used in conjunction with the foot pedal, I know I had one. If you install an I-Pilot on a power Drive it wires into the head where the foot pedal is and you have to take it off. You can keep it, but if the battery goes in the I-Pilot and you don't have another one then you have to re-wire the pedal back in. That's why it says FOOT PEDAL IS NOT COMPATIBLE IF MOTOR IS EQUIPPED WITH I-PILOT

True that. Add an I-Pilot to a PD-V2 and you lose the pedal. My auto pilot with the co pilot does a lot but has no spot lock or other GPS goodies.

You're right, I had to take the co-pilot out to put the I pilot in. I stand corrected.
Tell'em I'll be there.
