    Default Catalpa Worms

I'm looking for catalpa worms again this spring/summer. Anyone have access to or know anyone who has access to any of these little buggars? I grew up in east central Alabama. I remember walking out into our backyard and picking as many of these ugly creatures I wanted off of a couple of trees we had. They are absolutely the best catfish bait I have ever used. We have plenty of trees here in central missouri but no worms. I would like to get a couple of shipments this summer. I want to salt a couple of trees here with them and see if they come back next year. I will pay for them of course.

    Thanks.

    Bob

Thanks, slabman. I hope I don't have to pay $10.00 a dozen for a few hundred of the little buggars.

Thanks Beagle man. I really do appreciate that. I used to knock them down with a long cane pole when I was a kid. Of course, I climbed many a tree back then too.

    Good fishing to ya.

Catalpa worms are melting the ice caps. A huge environmental conspiracy.

They were on every catalpa tree you could find in Alabama when I was a kid. I have looked at some where around 250 trees here in MO over the past fee summers and NOTHING. That's why I want to seed a couple of trees and see if they come back the following summer.
