2 to 3 pound crappie

Well, etexbasser was catching 2 plus pound crappie and another excellent fisherman on video 3poundcrappie makes me wonder if those sizes will ever be caught in our central Texas lake? My brother has the lake record with a 15 inch white crappie weighing 1.85 pounds.

I don't know if there are bigger ones in your lake but I as I sit here watching it rain, a 15" 1.85# crappie would be nice.

There are two pound crappie in Indiana, and the weather goes from 60 to a sheet of ice. Not near the growing and gorging season as the south. I guarantee those fish are there.

yep, my best was 2.5lbs out of Monroe. hard to find sometimes, but they're there.

there is ALWAYS a freak in every lake my friend and to be sure a 1.85 full to the top with eggs will beat 2
never say never and pitch that jig often , that's the formula for sure
